Jason,

You've been gone 2 years today and it still sometimes seems so unreal. Your presence and your love has never left us. I look to the sky and I know that there is a world beyond the clouds, beyond the stars, beyond what we can see. And you are there. Your light and your love are so strong, lighting the path for the journey that we are taking.

I know that you are so proud of your mom. She's one tough cookie. She bends, but she won't break. She has an incredible strength. In the letter that I wrote to you in June 2004, I promised you that I would look out for your Mom and I will always keep that promise. Whatever she endures, she'll never endure it alone. I will be her rock.

We miss you so much. But although you're not physically here, you are always with us- every step of the way. The memories of you are a timeless treasure and I find comfort in them. Time passes, but the memories and the love never fades.....We go about our regular routines and carry on, but you are always close in thought and heart. I carry you with me wherever I go- every single minute of every single day. You will always be the rainbow after the storm, the warmth on a chilly night, the light that shines through the darkness....a constant summer breeze. Your spirit comforts us with every passing day. We will endure and persevere because we must...with you ever so close.

Words cannot express the depth of how much we miss you...Your unforgettable smile, the strength of your hugs, your warmth, your incredible sense of humor, your beautiful face. Every single thing that made you so unique is cherished beyond measure. More time will pass....but your memory and your legacy will live on and never be forgotten. So we continue the journey with thoughts of you ever so close and you being right beside us through every winding road. We cannot see your face, but you are always with us.

Today is a reminder that you are physically gone, but we still feel your love, your strength and death can never take that away. Jason, you exist beyond what we can see, but we know that you're near...always. Life continues....so does the love that we will always feel for you. We are blessed for having you in our lives. You touched our lives in such a special way and you will remain in our hearts forever.....Forever Loved & Remembered....
